Viñas del Vero Clarión 2018 (022)

Viñas del Vero Clarión is an exceptional white wine, selected every year with the best white grape varieties of the vintage. This means each year the wine changes slightly, but the characteristics remain the same: a rich, silky, elegant white wine with a great capacity of aging in the bottle.

The percentages used in the coupage vary year by year using: Riesling and Chardonnay mostly, and a small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc blend.

Visual - Intense yellow and green colors and its attractive shine invite us to think we are before a great wine.

Nose- Reminds us of very ripe peach and apricot, petals of fruit trees and anise seeds.

Taste - Dense and meaty on the mouth, soft and silky, with a powerful yet very elegant long finish.

This wine has the curiosity to have been selected for Spanish King's Felipe II and Queen Letizia wedding in 2004 cocktail party. The initial selection was made in a blind tasting by the association of Spanish sommeliers to avoid favoritism, and a second selection from the Royal Sommeliers.
